Both the B&B and garden at Millgate House have won several prestigious awards over the years.
The magnificent walled garden is an R.H.S Partnership garden - winning first prize (out of 3500 gardens) in the R.H.S national competition, presented by Prince Charles. The garden was also selected by Alan Titchmarsh in his 'Britain's Best Gardens 2015'. Other recent TV appearances include Channel 4's 'Obsessive Cleaners' and the BBC's 'Gardeners World'.
Many visitors have said the best B and B they have ever stayed in.
Millgate was awarded 'B&B of the Year' by The Good Hotel Guide some years ago and also selected as one of the best venues with a garden by the Good Hotel Guide for 2019
It holds excellent reviews on Tripadvisor; currently sitting as No 1 B&B in Richmond town centre and within the top 1% of establishments nationwide.
The official tourist guide Visit Britain listed it as one of the top ten B and Bs in the UK in 2020
